Violinist, violin and viola teacher. DipABRSM.
Originally from Hertfordshire, I am a violinist and teacher based in Redruth, Cornwall. I am classically trained, with a performance diploma (DipABSRM). I have considerable experience of quartet, chamber and orchestral playing, in London, the UK and America. I did a BA in Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, and an MA (Fine Art) at Falmouth University.)
I teach violin and viola at schools in Cornwall and privately at home.
I provide music for weddings, birthday parties, events and other occasions. I collaborate with a harpist (Sea Strings Duo), a cellist, a violinist and a string quartet and other combinations.

I have been part of the Bowie Lounge collective. (Musicians, actors and artists including a ballet dancer and a photographer.) We have performed in Cornwall and Devon since 2013.
I come from a musical family. My mother is a flautist and flute teacher and my father is a retired solicitor, composer and clarinettist. My brother is a drummer.

Firstly, as a violin and cello duo at the chapel that we got married at and then as a string quartet at Nancarrow Farm, Cornwall, during our drinks reception. So many of our guests commented on how lovely their playing was. We wanted our entrance music to be a track from Beauty and the Beast and Juliet beautifully arranged this for us. She was also able to suggest a good selection of other pieces to play during the rest of the wedding service (we went out to ‘All You Need Is Love’) and more general light classical music for the drinks reception. Juliet got back to us on any queries/emails very promptly and worked really hard to achieve what we wanted. Lessons
I teach classical violin and viola, including reading music and theory. Lessons are tailored to suit the individual violinist and I teach at home. I teach from beginners, to advanced and everything in between. All ages and stages welcome.
My current rates are:
Under 18: £18 for 30 minutes, £20 for 45 minutes, £25 per hour.

Over 18: £20 for 30 minutes, £25 for 45 minutes, £29 per hour.

Terms: Block of 4 lessons to be paid in full for on the date of the first lesson (bank transfer) or pay per lesson.
7 days notice required if not able to attend a lesson.
